About the Operator
Twenty years of learning eCommerce by doing it.
I launched my first eCommerce business in 2003. No outside capital, no roadmap — just a market problem and the drive to solve it. That experience taught me more about what makes eCommerce work than any course or credential ever could. The years that followed were spent inside the problem: building teams, fixing what was broken, making decisions with incomplete information, and living with the results.
Experience earned, not inherited.
Every engagement I take on is shaped by four distinct phases of my career. Each one taught me something that a benchmark report or marketing certification never could.

Running a 45-person eCommerce operation taught me that strategy without systems is just noise. I learned to build processes that perform when I'm not in the room — and to distinguish a people problem from a systems problem. That discipline now shapes every engagement.
